INLS/ NAsEA-ANMA joint Poetry festival 2009

 

 

INLS  had INLS poetry competition during NAsEA-ANMA joint convention (sep 5-7) at Raleigh, NC, USA. The competition was held in Saturday ,sep. 5th. Both competitive and non-competitive poems were recited during the competition. Best four poems were awarded by prize and certificate. Mr. Kali Prasad Pokharel distributed the prize and certificates to the winner. The details are as follows:

 

Chair of the program: Mr. Nagendra Neupane (Prsident  inls Poetry festival committee and NCNC)

Anchor (announcer/udghosak): Mr. Shailendra Devkota (Co-ordinator; convention publication committee)

Welcome speech: Mr. Lekh Nath Dulal

Chief Guest: Mr. Kali Prasad Pokhrel (Acting ambassador for USA)

Judges: Dr. Harihar Prasad Bhattarai, Mr. Govinda Giri Prerana, Mrs. Kamala Devkota

 

This competition has been funded by Dr. Bishwaraj Acharya who is the Founding President of NASea, lives in Atlanta Georgia. He established this award in his parents name "INLS Janardan-Lila Acharya Poetry Award"  Prizes for INLS Bishwa Raj Acharya Poetry Competition: Cash Prize, as follows with Certificate:
