Anniversary of Pathshala Celebrated

Greeting from West Palm Beach!
First Anniversary of Pathshala at West Palm Beach was celebrated on 29 of August 2009. This Pathshala which is being conducted under the banner of INLS, Florida chapter, was inaugurated last year on the auspicious occasion of JANAI PURNIMA.The Pathshala has completed a very successful first year this month.All classes were conducted uninterruptedly on a regular basis every month . A number of 29 students are enrolled in this Pathshala.
We were very fortunate to have Shree 1008 Swami Atmananda Giriji Maharaj from Devghat, NEPAL, as the chief guest at the Anniversary function. Pathshala coordinator Shrihari Shrestha led the Saraswoti Bandana and delivered his welcome speech. The president of the chapter Bimal Nepal collected the attendance of the students.Chief Guest Shree 1008 Swami Atmananda Giriji Maharaj also delivered ASHIRBACHAN to the Students. A short speech delivered by him was very impressive which also emphasized to work in a team in a friendly environment under a recognized organization for the betterment of society as it was the best way to achieve the determined goal.
After this event, both classes were run separately. Mrs. Sabitri Shrestha taught the Class KHA and Mrs. Shanta Gautam conducted the class A. All students were very attentive and excited during the class. As a routine during the end the program birthday of 2 students ( Sriram Shrestha and Lavu Tamrakar.) was also celebrated with the hindu parampara.
Member Secretary of Pathshala Sanchalan Samiti Krishna Shrestha presented the Pathshala Annual Evaluation Report which highlighted the achievements of Pathshala and summarized some issues raised by parents as a suggestion. Concluding the ceremony ,the INLS chapter President Bimal Nepal expressed his sincere gratitude to Shree 1008 swami Atmananda Giriji Maharaj . He thanked all the enrolled students and their parents for maintaining consistency and supporting the PATHSHALA throughout the year. He thanked Pathshala Coordinator Shrihari Shrestha and his spouse Anjali Shrestha for their outstanding contribution to the Pathshala from the day one of its establishment.
In the presence of Swami President Nepal reiterated the responsibilities of Pathashala coordinating committee to leave the differences aside and come up with an effective Pathshala program in the days ahead making us all proud and wished the WPB Pathshala to be a Role model to all the regional Pathshalas.
Mr. Nepal extended his special thanks to the FNA President Sanjay Bajracharya, Dr Bijaya Kattel, Guruamas Sabitri Shrestha and Shanta Gautam, and chapter's General Secretary Krishna Shrestha and all the distinguished guests.
On behalf of INLS, Florida Chapter, Chapter's President Bimal Nepal handed over a cheque of one hundred dollars to Swami Atmananda Giriji Maharaj for the contribution of Devghat NRN Virdhrashram in Nepal and asked all individuals to contribute and be a part of Swami ji great mission to Devghat's project.
